By nature, The MALIK Foundation is philanthropic; The MALIK Foundation’s mission is to acquire and direct resources for the educational, cultural, leadership, and philanthropic programs of the Fraternity and for the scholastic, professional, and service pursuits of its members. The goal of The MALIK Foundation is to ensure that the Fraternity realizes its vision to develop progressive community programming, seize opportunities to serve underserved communities, provide leadership opportunities through the provision of cultural education, civic responsibility, self-reliance training, wealth generation and economic development initiatives. We have established strategic partnerships with grass roots Rites of Passage community groups like The Chionesu Bakari Program for Youth. This Brooklyn based programs engages in the ministry of saving and developing young black males by reclaiming, renaming, renewing and reconditioning their minds through constructive mentorship. The MALIK Foundation pledged $10,000 to this program and works hand in hand with their programs.

The signature fundraiser for the Foundation is the MALIK Foundation Black History Gala. This event is held every February where we honor individuals who are making a lasting difference in the lives of our youth through mentorship and other endeavors.  Past honorees are: NYS Assembly House Speaker Carl Heastie, Congressman Charles Rangel, Eagle Academy School founder David Banks, Author/Activist Denene Millner and Campaign for Black Male Achievement founder Sean Dove.
